Grammy 2011 Gifting Suites

The Staples Center was abuzz with interns running with coffee in their hands, unmarked, tinted SUV vehicles, and golf carts carrying supplies to and from. The 53rd annual Grammy Awards are being held at the Los Angeles Staples Center, February 13, 2011, and will air live on CBS Television from 8-11:30 pm.

The celebrity gifting suite was held February 10-12th at the Staples Center. Where in the Staples Center, you ask? Well, the underground parking garage, is the answer! It’s a very unsuspecting place to find celebrities. The roads are blocked behind the garage and cones are set up in the dark garage leading the way in to the gifting suite and the talent tent. One darkly, tinted SUV after another and Land Rovers with more bling than you can ever imagine screeched down the garage pavement. One SUV, sitting unsuspectingly, in the back you could see a little guy in the middle of the seats in the back row. His hair was bobbed over and one large jump later from the vehicle was Mr. Justin Bieber. Mr. Bieber was escorted directly to the talent area to start rehearsing and with no paparazzi in site.

Inside the gifting suite, Smirnoff vodka, My Purmist, a safe and soothing sinus therapy, and Votre Vu, a refreshing drink were set up. The Body Shop was gifting some of their new men’s line with maca which is an ingredient from the Andes that has been found in studies to increase energy and mood and may decrease anxiety and improve sexual desire- not bad for just going to your local, The Body Shop. Moroccan Oil was also there gifting their oils that revive, strengthen and condition hair without leaving any oily residue.

Solstice made an appearance coming from the snowy gifting suites in Park City to the sunny streets of downtown LA. One of the most impressive gifts was from Delta Private Jets. Director of Delta Jets, Brad Blettner, was gifting $10,000 certificates for a private jet ride. With guaranteed aircraft availability within 12 hours of booking and no baggage fees, Delta Private Jets looks like the way to go.

Case-Mate partnered with the Grammy’s and was officially the most creative gifting. They made the official Grammy Case. Case-Mate has always made innovative accessories which are durable and protect your electronic devices. Case-Mate has now come out with I Make My Case which allows you to pick your background, color scheme and shade. You can put any numerous designs and pictures on them.
