Using earth tones and prints on translucent shear silk, Fernando explores the contrast between primitive tribal themed prints, a figurative re-expression of Elizabethan color palates while being juxtaposed to modern fabrics and materials. Perhaps one can call it “The reinvention of the modern humanoid: one who is reinterpreting the thematic styles, colors, and patterns of previous times in human history”.
