This collection had a safari theme mixed with Indian prints and some colorful pastels. Elephants, cheetahs, zebras and wolves are combined in one-pieces and cover ups. “Iron-on” patches were strategically placed on the hip area or bust area. Beads of different sizes where used to recreate print-like shapes on the fabrics, and used to thicken the material and make it look three dimensional. Some of the two piece bikinis had interesting cuts with added tassels. Snakeskin patterns were used in pastel prints on bikinis, cover ups and pants. The safari theme extended to the choice of footwear and use of cargo pants, and vests. –Cecilia Videcel
