In the Altaf Maaneshia’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, the designer had a way of using vibrant colors in a non-overpowering fashion. The long dresses had an ethereal flow so that the models don’t appear to be walking, but rather gliding smoothly down the runway. The leather jackets, which came in multiple colors, had an edgy Rockefeller feel and yet managed to look sophisticated and chic. Some of the pieces also had this intricate design in gold that was carefully placed on the waistband, shoulders, and other parts of the garments. All in all, the collection screams effortless luxury, while remaining light and comfortable to wear. –Dee Morla
