The FW 2012 Octavio Carlin collection at Style Fashion Week in LA at Vibiana on March 15, 2012, made one contemplate fashion in the 1920’s. “Art Deco with a touch of ancient Egyptian oulture”, was the inspiration for the collection, as mentioned in the following video link. Full length gowns with multiple layers caught the light and looked elegant without being too revealing. Blacks, whites, mostly solid bold colors, were accentuated with patterned leggings and simple accessories. A solid group of designs that bring back yester-year.
