Carlos Miele presented his FW2012 collection at Mercedes Benz NYFW. It utilized warm capes, themes borrowed from the Southwestern U.S., bright yellows, golds, checkered patterns, and hatch patterns to bring individuality, distinction and creativity to these seasonal garments. Polished ‘ranchero’ looks were juxtaposed to yellow and black evening wear in a thematically cohesive collection.-Peter Ronen
