Tadashi Shoji FW 2014 Mercedes Benz NYFW

Feb 7, 2014

The Tadashi Shoji Fall 2014 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week transports you to a Moroccan palace. The moon casts its light to earth showcasing the intrinsically intricate designs of the Moorish halls–Shoji captures its magic. From colors and texture to his use of patterns, there is a sense of mystery and a blend of symmetry. Two capes bring a sense of royalty and will keep you warm in a fall breeze. Laser cut micro suedes show hues of reds deep and bright, plum, green. Lace and chiffon bring antiquity while Shoji makes it modern for his Au Courrant woman! Velvet is cut into paillettes; while the black shimmer of sequins captures the stars. The women that wear these dresses will shine brighter than diamonds. –Stacia Hitt
