The Rachel Zoe SS2013 collection says “attractive, independent, classy, and sophisticated” without going over the top. Some pieces had more detail than others. For the most part, they were flattering, flowing, and elegant without being pretentious. This collection had one of the largest groups of pieces that had flowing multi-layered sheer fabrics in the whole of Mercedes Benz NYFW. The patterns were muted, the colors tended to be solids–either earth tones or brighter orange, aqua, dark green, white, black, or flesh tones. Overall an approachable, prete a porter group of pieces targeted at an audience who wants to look trendy, youthful, and fashionable.
