Quynh Paris Fall 2016 / Style Fashion Week / Los Angeles

Mar 19, 2016

Quynh Nhu Nguyen unveiled her latest Ready-to-Wear and Couture Fall 2016 Runway Collections at Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles at Style Fashion Week. Recently she showcased her collection also at Style Fashion Week in NYC, NY.

Her Ready-to-Wear collection included sheath dresses, shift dresses or A-Line dresses, skirt suits or pant suits; while all are asymmetric, slimming and futuristic. Each season she explorers a new theme, letting her multi-cultural artistic creativity express itself through 3D shapes, volumes, asymmetric, structured and futuristic forms. The cutting technique aimed at making pieces of fabric overlap each other to suggest several layers and the feeling of warmth, while actually there is only one layer. Dresses looked like structural assemblies, well cut, well built, and well sewn. Dark color are played off of light color which makes the silhouette look thinner. Visible buttons on the suits give off an upscale air. Colors presented are: black, white, red, green, blue–all winter colors. They are dark but romantic–bright but without being dazzling. Material is exclusively stretched wool.

Her Couture creations, presented at LAFW, are worn by numerous beauty contest winners and contestants, top models, international celebrities, and have been featured in numerous fashion editorials.
