Pamella Roland showcased her SS2012 collection at NYFW as an installation exhibit in the “Box”. An intimate location where her models did a few outfit changes and stood inside “picture frames” with different poses. The collection was classy, classic, and easy on the eyes, with both bright whites and subtle bright colored patterns. The dresses were fitted, some were long, while some just ending just above the knee. This “portrayal” format was interesting because of the proximity the audience can get to the pieces, almost close enough to touch, allowing a better feel for the fit and finish of the product.
