Alexis Monsanto, a Filipino designer, showcased his new SS2013 collection at Style Fashion Week Los Angeles, CA at Vibiana. Many bright colored silk chiffon flowing pieces graced the runway. Some of the pieces had print or material embellishments, but most were solid bold reds, blues, purples, and pinks. Apl.de.ap, rapper, record producer and member of the Black Eyed Peas came to support his fellow Filipino designer, and promote his own charity. See Apl.de.ap’s video interview below:
